Palisade Gate

Ok, sorry having a little problem here mates.

ok im building a palisade around my claim I have one cornerpost that cost 30 wood, then 2 spaces away I built another corner post that cost 100 wood. It has the option to build a gate but it says "you can't build that there" when I try to build it.
It is paved between the 2 cornerposts. But im still having no luck.

Ok, finished it all up. paved in front still didn't work. Paved behind them and it finally worked. Thank you again.
