Declaiming P-claims with V-claims

Postby killette2 » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:49 pm

What are the requirements to declaim someones personal claim with a village claim? Is it...

Part of your V-claim has to touch someones P-claim
Part of your V-claim has to touch their P-claim pole
One of your banners/statues have to be in their P-claim

Which is it?

Part of your V-claim has to touch someones P-claim if im not mistaking, you have to stand next to the claim when declaiming it.

From my experience V claim has to cover whole P claim, Wiki states too:

Your claim can be declaimed by the lawspeaker of the village if it is covered by the village claim.

from my experience, V claim did not have to cover the whole p claim, but just a part of it, at least in w3.
however, our village did not have enough authority then to actually revoke it, so cannot confirm for sure.
(i did get the option of revoking though.)

Some Noob made a P claim right next to our village without contacting us, tried to talk to him but he just acted stoopid - i extended our V claim to cover 3 quarters of it, tried to revoke - didn't work - when covered whole P claim it did...

you probably did not have enough authority to declaim it (amount of tiles claimed*250=amount of authority needed)

i did get the option of revoking every time without enough authority though...and we couldnt expand our vclaim to cover even the half of the pclaim due to its hugeness at first. once you get the option, it tells you how much authority you need to revoke when you do not have sufficient authority. (we tried revoking many times only to get reminded how much more authority we needed. unfortunately, w3 ended before we managed it.)

maybe revoking system was changed without announcement since w3.(or i may have missed it...)

You just need to stand on a tile where vclaim and pclaim overlap.
