bronze sword or soldie's sword

First off I don't know where to put this post.
As the title says, which one is better to have?
Does quality affect the damage you do?
Which one better if they the same quality?

Soldier's sword. And yes quality effects damage.

Soldiers sword has 400 base damage

Bronze sword has 325 base damage
