How do I get ingame without crashing?

All clients I've tried have been crashing since W6.

After I get past character selection it crashes immediately.

Yes I was able to join in once to create my character, but I can't do it again. There are no error messages, simply a frozen game. Anyone have an idea of how to fix it? I've reinstalled Java, HnH (on vanilla, Ender's, and the patched version of Enders) and I've restarted my computer. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

deleting all the .conf files in my Ender's folder solved the problem for me.
