String has nothing to do with the claim. You only need it for the dream catcher.

I have got the dream catcher now. If I want to move my HF, do i have to first destroy me original one before I build a new one in my camp?

no just build a new HF.the old one will turn into a normal fire

if you plan on commiting crimes in the future put it inside because you can summonkilled from range when you leave scents.if not, you can leave it outside.

but put it inside your palisade and on claimed land when you get a palisade
