Can I repair a boat even if I don't have the Boat Making skill?

My first instinct is to say "No". I know you can't repair a palisade without yeomanry (skill required to build it). I could be wrong, though (and I'm sure someone will chime in to say otherwise if I am). All I can say is try. boats aren't going to break as long as they're being used, but don't leave them sitting somewhere off your claim or they will decay away.

unless you run into a pirate who sinks you and takes your stuff...also unsure on repairing(I always seem to have boatbuilding)
