Finding WWWs

I have 10 exploration and 10 perception and have still not found any WWWs. I've been travelling by boat to cover ground quicker and not get killed by animals (I am a noob and have no idea how to fight). Am I doing something wrong or should I be adding more exploration? whats the deal?

you can start to see them at 80-100 so you are just really unlucky. I got a bunch at about 110 per/exp so it can be done.

what do u mean by a bunch? cause i have been searching like crazy, have found tons of string, dandes, etc. and now just 1 WWW. To me it seems these are quite rare.

I found at least 6 with 12per/8exp and have about 30 now with 13per/15exp, takes me more time to dry them then find them.

(side note: I just got wheat aww yaa!)

By the time you get a score of 240 or so, you'll get tired of finding the damn things.
