Cant make up my mind.

I just got a bone. Which should i make first? a Bone saw or fishing hook? I live by the river so i can get fish and food but the bone saw would be nice for a house. Food or shelter=/ I dont know. What should i do?

If you're in some sort of newbie village, grab a bonesaw, you should be getting enough people to get bones.
If you're a nomad and starting out, I'd say fishing hook definitely. Remember that you need a string, a bait, AND a hook in order to have a fishing pole. If you dont have foraging yet and cant get spindly taproots I'd say get a bonesaw. But fishing IS a great (and sometimes OP) way of getting food and FEP.

yea i have a complete fishing pole all i needed was the hook. Thanks food is more important to me and im on this alone in the middle of no were. Thanks

NP, by the way, if you don't have yeomannry or anything, make your home accessible to the river, but not on the river. You'll end up getting cleaned out of all your supplies very quickly by traveling sailers.

yep i learned to make it away from the river so you cant see it if your going to down the river or even if you go in land a little. Is building like a fence inside a ridge and putting my house in that ok? and i do have yeomanry just no bones.

I guess, but you gotta remember that there is a zoom out feature in Enders Client (Which a LOT of people use.) so be sure to space your camp a distance away. Once you start to get more bones from-- what I assume to be rabbits make some dream catchers and place a claim. It costs LP to expand it but its worth it when you dont get raided for all your supplies.

Don't forget that if you build a house, clear trees, pave land or even just plow land, it will be visible on the minimap in a day or two at most.

I'm guessing you live in a forest, you should find and regularly visit a heath moor or grassland nearby. more animals spawn in those areas and when you find a chicken you'll get atleast 3, making them the quickest way to get bones.

once you've gotten 2 rabbits and tanned thier furs make sure to make a sling. that way you can go after foxes and boars from your boat, giving you higher quality bones to make higher quality equipment.
