A Humble man and his Newbish Questions

Alrighty, even though ive only been playing for the past 3 days and i've picked up ALOT of things in this short manner of time and I even got me a nice sized house with a semi-secured perimeter (thanks wiki), I still have questions to hone my skills. Answer(s)! I need them.

1. If I make somebody my "kin", is there a way to track them on the mini-map?

2. Can said kin some how "teleport" to my location without the use of a hearth fire?

3. Do you get bigger sized houses later in the game besides a timber house?

4. Im just about set to get combat-ready to fend off those dam boars that friggned spawn killed me twice. How can I make mines and/or how can I obtain metals? Also what skill leads into building a furnace/anvil?

5. Any way to run faster on forest or any other ground from the local wild life?

6. Can you claim more then 1 area of land?

7. Whats the easiest way to get Wild Windsown Weed for farming?

8. Whats the quickest way to get LP?

9. How do you get a house Icon/Road to show up on the mini-map? (I plan on keeping my crib on the down-low until im geared up and start a village so I dont want uninvited guests yet.)

10. (Stupid Question), how can you tell what world your in? I've read around and saw that there was diffrent worlds but I've looked around and i'm not seeing any indication of what world im in.

Any other tips on how not to die is also appreciated, and to those who answers my questions 1000 thank yous.

2. Chieftain - Can make people hirdsman, can summon hirdsman to him(teleport).

Hirdsman - Can wear hirdsman gear.

3. Stone Mansion

4. From caves or mine holes, masonry and metal working (I think)

6. yes with alts or one personal claim/village claim

7. get more per/exp

9. build a house, the mini-map does not update right away

10. only one world, your in it.

About running faster: you cannot sprint on forest terrain (mountain terrain either). And about the worlds: when you are reading about other worlds, what is meant is that those were worlds that existed before a complete server wipe and world reset. For instance , you (and the rest of us) are in the sixth world, meaning the server has been wiped clean 5 times thusfar (publicly).
