Combat moves speed.

Postby Gray » Thu Nov 03, 2011 3:54 pm

After I perform a combat move I get a loading bar that shows how long I have to wait until I perform another move. How do I see what moves are more heavy on waiting? Isnt there suposed to be a time tooltip on each move?

That wouldn't be a bad idea. I used to use Dash a lot but DDDs said Dash wasn't a very good move, then over time I've noticed the cooldown delay on Dash is noticeable. So yeah, seeing a cooldown in the tooltip could be handy for sure.

Also battle intensity does affect cooldown speeds, and I believe your agility does too. So it might be hard to find a "base" cooldown period perhaps, or the modifiers of the cooldown might be too numerous to make the base cooldown info be worthwhile.

It probably exists a cooldown modifier on every move, I think it would be nice if it was displayed on the tooltip. I have also noticed many move wich seem underpowered compared to others like flex.

Check the RoB page with all the combat moves. It lists the base times. And yes, the two opponents agi is compared and the cooldown increased/decreased accordingly.

Actually, RoB doesn't have the base times listed :S

It's not that Dash isn't a "good" move, it's just probably not the best move you could choose for that battle. From my experience, all moves are good in one way or another, you just have to be creative.
I had a retardedly huge signature and have gotten this embarrassing replacement to show for it.

You might need to actually scroll down there to where the "Moves" and "Special Moves" are that have cooldowns.

Ah, I was basing it off the attack list, I never truly scrolled down and checked that out I guess. Shame it only shows the cooldowns of the Moves list

True. I've not quite gotten a base for many of the special moves. Some seem to be fixed, others based on some formula that may or may not include Agi.

If you could manage to feed curios to an alt to get them all the combat moves, we could record all the data to upload to the wiki. I don't play currently so I don't exactly have the resources to raise an alt myself. (It could maybe not be an alt, but a character with 10 agility so it can spar against a 10 agi alt)
