12 hr wait on a palisade?

Ok scoped out a settlement spot.

get to cutting down the trees and make me a square of paved ground.

setup the initial cornerpost, put all the stuff in it and build.

after it was built, get a message saying i have to let it set.

ask in global about message, says there is a 12 hour wait.


when did this become a part of palisade building and why the change, if anybody knows?

It was changed sometime before world 4 because I started playing January and for me it's "always" been 12 hrs.

As far as I know it started in w3, but then it was 8h I think

It was 12 hours when I started playing in w3 if I recall correctly, though that's been well over a year ago now. My memory gets fuzzy on some of the game changes sometimes.

Note: dug through the revision history on Palisade: Nobody seems to disagree that the set time started in w3.
