My hearth fire vanished and I can't find my plot...

So earlier today I tried to log in. 'Where I logged out'.
Then my computer crashed.

I try to log in again when my computer's running again. I no longer have the 'where I logged out' option, instead having 'somewhere in the wilderness'. Without noticing I click that.
I'm in the middle of nowhere, which is not surprising, and my fault, given the text of the option I clicked like an idiot. However, I also appear to have no hearth fire. Does that option destroy it?

Since my hearth fire seems to be missing, is there any way to find my way back to my own claim, beyond wandering until I notice something familiar? Or is there a way to declaim from afar?

a) its not your fault you have no hf any more. some guy with vandalism has destroyed it (else that option wouldnt show)
b) if you have friends/kins/or an alt account at your old plot, you could party them and follow their direction by clicking their image at the party-menu (to the left top; arrows are bugged sometimes, so dont follow those)
- but it could be a journey of one or two rl-days if you have bad luck, our world is huge

True, but in this case it's 'the evil I have no clue where it is any more' and 'the evil that's somewhere, out there, but not specifically pestering me'.

settle near(not on) a heath, moor, or grassland it will make it easier to get those bones you need. also look for chickens, they usually travel in flocks so if you find 1 you find a few.
