Because, seriously. I'm sick of being stuck NEXT to thieves on a constant basis.

I built a boat, traveled to the very, very edge of the map, put my boat behind a tree while I logged off for the night. I come back, and someone has ALREADY stolen my shit. I mean, seriously?

Why are we being packed in like sardines?

this is happening every single spot I've stopped in. Two weeks in, and you can't settle down somewhere long enough to build a palisade without your stuff being stolen.

I was walking through the forest near the edge of the map maybe two or three enders maps from the nearest water source. that's a lot of screens. Nowhere near the river.
And between getting boatbuilding, and searching for a place, I haven't exactly gotten yeomanry yet.

Find a better place and just get yeo asap. It's not really that much LP. I haven't seen a single person yet this world, so it is possible to find somewhere a bit secluded and solitary. Good luck.

Well I've been playing for TWO days and I've got my idol up.

But it doesn't seem to work..what the hell am I doing wrong?

BTW, I've been with H&H on and off since world 3.

I despise thieves myself, but when I see a boat left somwhere near the river then I take it, if I need, because:
- Its owner probably is no longer playing
- Its owner didn't value it enough to put it on claim or return with it to his HF
- Its owner abandoned the boat because he no longer needed it.

Really, if you log out with your boat unsecured then you fall into one of those categories.
