Could not connect to server

Alright, I walked away from computer. Came back later, and everything was running properly. EXCEPT for the fact that I couldn't move. All the UI was functional, but upon clicking, nada.

I closed client (Ender's), and relaunched. Upon attempt to connect, I receive the response "Could not connect to server." It goes through the authentication process, gives a positive response, but fails to connect.

Any idea?

server is down, check by click home up top and you can see the server status

Thanks, I had thought of that, but didn't think it would bother to check my authentication if that was the case.

In that case, is it for maintenance or an actual crash?

but since i'm already here, it's not for maintance and it's been down for roughly an hour to hour and half if my UTC time conversion thingy is right
