how do i make a waterwell?

where do i find stone?

can i get water from the rivers/lakes with a mug or a wineskin?

how do i make a bucket(what skills)

You make a dowsing rod and walk around till you find a well spot. Then you build a well on it.

You can chip stones off boulders, they're everywhere.

You can get water directly from lakes and rivers.

I think buckets take carpentry, check the wiki to be sure.
