Steal our village without destroy our palisade

Hey guys,

we have an issue ! Indeed, someone came in our basement this night without destroy our palisade, and this person steal our village (We was waiting for the 12 hours, and he stealed it before we come back (what a lucky guy). One person of our basement has "ranging" and has a lot of perception. This person can see the thief destroyed our HF, destroyed our beds, and went on our claim. He used 30k points to create the village.

We dont know how the thief came in our basement, because :
- He create a new character, and he find our hearth secret, but, he cant get 30k points to create the village.
- He destroy our palisade, steal the village, and remake the palisade, but we were offline less than 8 hours.
- He find the loggin and password of our "doorman"'s account....

Now the thief is dead, we dont know how. ("The perpetrator is dead")

What do you think this history ? Is there any other way where the thief came in our basement ?

How can he go through the palisade without destroy it ?..

You have to walk to the idol to fund a village.
If you cant login back to your place and see what happened, it was probably your friend who did it.

just to clear this up: palisades take 12 hours to dry, idols take 24. if you were waiting 12 hours, and mention the guy sealing your palisade I'm wondering if you didn't have your palisade built yet but tried to put up a village claim. if this is the case, then anyone can walk onto your claim, anyone with tresspassing can interact with things on your claim...and since idols only need a right click I think its possible that tresspassing is the only skill needed for taking an idol. regaurdless to seal the cornerpost he had to have vandalism anyway so that doesn't matter...

the biggest thing I've learned in the time I've been playing this game is that if you don't have things protected you shouldn't complain when people mess them up. a village idol is a big 'hey come look what we have' sign on the minimap, so if you put up such a sign with no way to defend yourself you're asking for trouble. also your personal claim outweighs the village claim, so if you have a large enough personal claim you don't have to worry too much. except for the fact that the guy can warp to the village idol and always get to you, so you'll probably want to palisade it off...good luck to you in getting things organized.
