skill values in Char sheet

Postby joojoo1975 » Tue Sep 29, 2009 8:22 pm

there are 11 skill values on the right hand side of the character sheet(the top one is unarmed combat and the bottom one is survival), are they explained on what will happen when you increase them(i believe it costs 200 points for the first one) I mean i been playing mmo's and rpg's for a bit so i can prolly guess the simplest ideas but like survival if i increase that will i get more points for lighting a fire or what? and exploration, will i see farther with the mini map?

thanx for the help ur able to give. nice game, it's kept my interest for the entire day

if you increase survival you will be able to craft better quality stuff and get higher quality meat from butchering animels.

for example: you butcher a cow. with survival on level1 you will get meat arround Q8. after roasting it the Q goes down again cuz your survival is lower than 8. if you have survival on level 10, you will get cow meat from quality of 10 (this is default by cow's). the quality will also be 10 after roasting it.
note: you only get Food points when eating roasted Q10+ meat.

exploration and perception are importand to find stuff like rustroots, chentrellas.

Check the Wiki to find out what each skill does.

But basically, combat skills make you fight better, crafting skills make you craft items of better quality, exploration is used to find herbs and track criminals, and stealth is supposed to make it easier for a criminal to get away, but it's currently broken so don't waste points on it.

Travel weariness is a debuff that accumulates as you use the travel function, when the bar under the status is filled, you are no longer able to travel. The only ways to reduce Travel weariness built up, is to sleep or consume alcohol.
