Tree Q question

I cant seem to find this anywhere, i understand that the water+soil+seed+herb table all go into the quality of a tree you plant but i cant find out if the soil its planted on has any affect on the Q, like how higher soil raises crop quality faster

Soil only counts for the soil in the pot. Once you transplant into the ground it doesn't matter.
