What you need.
_________________
1. 2 or more ropes
2. a fence in herd of mouflon or auroch
3. 100+ shp if you make some mistakes

Ok, read some Threads a bit similar from mines, likes...

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6518 - if you have no other choice but to engage attack against it
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5786 - a good way to learn about taming :3

How to fence them in properly ( my way )

OXXXX O = open space
Xo-oX X = sign
X X o-o = Auroch or Mouflon
XXXXX

Steps.
_________
1- Get 24 Initiative points.
2- Right after a twitch, quickly sidestep them throught the Open space at the corner.
3- Do --------------------------------^^^ 4 times.
3- Do a bee sting, just like how you did the side steps
4- Quell it
4.5- Do 1-4 on another animal
5- You should have 20/100 by now right? then un-aggro them, be careful not to go too far thought because that'll make a messy bug.
6. Come back to them un-aggroed, and attack ( i suggest call down the thunder ) on another animal, one that you arent taming
This should cause the one you are taming to aggro to you, skipping the 10-15 minute wait for it to aggro you.
7. so steps 1-4 on the two animals you are taming for it to become 40,60,80, and finally 100!

Some Tips.
____________
Not 100% sure - putting the rope in your inventory wont do harm, just put on the 3rd rope and tame the 3rd animal, 4th, 5th, and so on. Remember the rope for each animal though, dont wanna get them mixed up.
For 2 or more Animals at once -If the animal engages combat to you faster than normal, don't panic. Finish the one you are trying to Quell, and Quell the other animal.

Any Comments, Corrections, or more tips to add? Please reply and i'll edit it ASAP.

I'm not sure it's much different than anything else posted. It's been a while since I've read some of the other threads, though, so I don't remember them too well.

Clean it up (grammatically and visually) and add some screenshots instead of an attempt at ANSI art, and you'll have a decent guide here. If all you're doing is adding some tricks to the methods of the other guides, then it might be better to just add comments at the end of the other guides.

using seize the day works better than sidestep, and you won't need nearly as many ip

edit: it does take 5 combat intensity, but building the 24 ip you suggest will more than likely have you at 10...way easier to just build a few ip(only need 2 to quell and seize the day doesn't use any) then fan the flames(uses stamina) til you can seize the day then consume the flames(which actually gives you back your stamina) to reset intensity then just quell...guide on the wiki gives a perfect overview

If your methods prove more efficient then why post them here? They'd do much better on the wiki where people look for answers like this everyday.

Not to be trollin' I'm just stating a fact you know, not to delete this post, just it'd do well in the wiki if it is indeed worthy.

I had this discussion with Sevenless back when he was still playing. I agree with you, by the way, good guides and such should go on the wiki with the associated category. (Sevenless didn't want to put anything on the wiki he didn't have to.) One of the reasons to post here is to vet the idea first and see how well it works, refine some of the writing, etc. If I had seen the post as-is on the wiki, I'd probably have reverted the entire thing back to the previous state and MAYBE sent a message as to why I did it. Post ideas for major changes here or on the talk pages before completely changing one (especially if the change is one where the community might not agree on the best method).

Seize the Day is bad for these guides. It requires you to be able to go toe-to-toe with the animal being quelled compared to Call the Thunder from a distance to build the 26 IP needed and then moving in for a single side step and ducking back out of range. And if you're good enough to go toe-to-toe with the animal, Death or Glory for some of the IP while you're at it along with using Dash and switching to Oak Stance to build defense back up is pretty quick.

I've used seize the day for every animal I've tamed, and I've done the twitch method(wait for it to try to attack then step in and use my moves) I usually walk around with no armor(tw) and with lag I've had my defense bar taken down more than half way from a mistep, so I know I can't take aurochs head on. after standing back and calling down thunder you can seize the day using the exact same method as using side step, it just doesn't use ip, meaning less calling down thunder, which means far less battle intensity, which means a little less shp loss from consuming the flames...

You just made my point. ;) Odds of getting hit increase when you have to step in more frequently. Also, Sting like a Bee resets the intensity to 0, but requires 6 IP. I prefer it because there's no SHP loss.
