There is only one world, the world 6.
Each time the server is completely wiped, a new world is created.

I've never been able to find myself on the world map last world I knew I was near alot of Pande banners so when asking about trades I always mentioned that...then I found out Pande took up a good 1/10 of the world

Even then, it gives you a good place to start looking. That's one good suggestion for anyone trying to pinpoint their location: Ask if anyone reading the forums will PM you the rough area they're in so you can search the map from there.

The more you explore, the more you get to know your surroundings and the easier it is to get your bearings. It took me all of 20 seconds to locate my supergrid once the world map went online.
