FEP gain

So i'm not quite sure, but if my max stat is 10, and i eat something with a total of 10 fep with 8 str and 2 con, i get rewarded with 1 str point which results in 11 strength. Does that mean my 2 con has gone to waste?

The 2 FEP of con is gone. It went towards filling the bar to get u a point of str.
