How many hitpoints does a hearth fire have?

Postby SugarMagnolia » Wed Nov 30, 2011 2:44 pm

I was trapped inside my palisade because I forgot to seal one cornerpost and griefers seem to have way too much time on their hands.

at strength 20, using a pickaxe I do only 1 damage to my hearth fire, is that right? so how many times do I have to hit it? I want to teleport out of the wall.

you're going to have to hit it a lot, plan on drinking 3-4 flasks of water at least

I drank over 10 flasks and the sandwatch is still full, no change at all. so are we talking about 1000 hitpoints here? or 2000? 3000?

If the hourglass icon did not change at all, you are doing no damage at all which is odd since you should be dealing 6 - 5 = 1 damage. And I am fairly certain that, though it has a good amount of HP, it should at least change the hourglass icon.

Do you have wine or beer or a beer tooth talisman? Do you have the pick axe equipped? Is it a pick axe and not a stone axe (stone axe is one handed)? Did you check your strength while you are striking the hearthfire?

oh, yeah; I meant the stone axe. if I had a pick axe, I would have at least 100 strength anyway

Yeah unless you can make yourself a bear cape/neck or have some wine handy it looks like you're screwed.

What? It's quite clearly 25STR + Stone Axe. Did you not even read the thread?

I used a q19 stone axe with 31 str on a HF and stood there for a whole stamina bar, I suppose I could have waited longer. 30 with a pickaxe is a reasonable speed
