Battering Rams and Palisades

Do Battering Rams decay on Personal Claims? Also, I have 26 str, and I know I need an extra ten. I am by myself. If I drink some wine for the second stat. effect, which gives me plus 15 str, will I be able to break the palisade?

If you are curious: My friend and I were going to start a village, but he has the key to our palisade, and hasn't been on for almost 6 days now. I was inviting people, but then he went inactive. So I'm going to batter my way out, if possible, and make a new gate that I have the key for. Then I can possibly invite some more people

Wine would work just fine. You'll need probably a half bucket of it to last long enough to smash the wall, as that takes some time when you're doing 1 damage per swing. You'll also need water.

Alternatively, spawn 3 alts and multi-client, having them assist you. Each will add 3 damage to the equation allowing you to break the wall without alcohol.

10 Strength = 3 Damage contributed and 4 people can use a ram simultaneously, adding their damage values together. So your 5 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 20 will sufficiently break the Palisades 25 Damage Reduction. Afterwards you can do with them as you please. Key alts can be handy, storage alts, lumber alts, etc. or you can just kill them.

Keep in mind that the damage will drop if a character stop ramming due to lack of stamina. Make sure each alt and charaacter has a mean of regenerating stamina after a ram interval.

also you get 10 strength from 1 glass of wine, at 26 strength that puts you at 36 and gives you 6 damage. drinking to get the +15 puts you at 41 and you'll still do 6 damage(until you get to 49) so just drink normally and you can break it with far less wine and no alts. alternatively if you use alts and give them wine also you'll have them doing 4 damage instead of 3. if done with alts you'll have to do 139 hits with wine, 250 with sober alts and wine for you, sober alts + sober you 279 hits, if done alone with your wine bonus will take 2500 hits. good luck!
