Wax and worship

Hey folks

My character died and even though I have re-purchased Ancestor Worship and the skills to construct beehives on my new Hearthling, I can't sacrifice to my ancestors and my hives don't seem to be producing any wax.

If I left click on an item to offer at my ancestor shrine, then right click on the shrine, nothing happens. This shrine was built by my previous character, do I need to build a new shrine?

I am actively farming around my hives, and they are producing honey. But it's been at least 3 weeks and in that time I have never gotten the Harvest option when right clicking on a hive looking for wax. Am I just really unlucky or do I need to do something else?

You need to harvest more frequently. And yes, I think you need a new shrine.
