Question on Travel Weariness and Caves

Postby LonelyGrinder » Sat Dec 17, 2011 9:35 am

I was exploring a cave and I am currently stuck at a cave entrance that someone has claimed with maximum travel weariness. The wiki says weariness is reduced by sleeping but will just logging out reduce it at all? I am lucky to have enough curiosities to learn tresspassing on me but I wanted to gain points in some other skills first.

You can ALWAYS travel to your own hearth fire no matter how weary you are. If you have no hearth fire and belong to a village, the village idol replaces the purpose of your hearth fire.

also you don't need trespassing to walk on someone else's claim, just turn on criminal acts and hope they aren't really vigilante

Yeah but you can't enter (or exit) a claimed cave without the trespassing skill, it's the same as opening a gate or going into a house. To be clear, if you are on the claimed side, you can't enter/exit the cave without Trespassing. If you enter/exit the cave and then find yourself on a claim, you don't need the skill to get away from teh claim.
