how have you been playing over a month and only have 10 int? int is a very important stat, the higher your int the more stuff you can cram into your study at once(as long as it fits in the 16 boxes) meaning you make more LP.

While your INT is still low, you will want to utilizes a few constant means of increasing your INT modifier. Wine/Beer gives a buff that increase your INT by 10. Necromancer Cloak/Merchant Robe will also increase your INT while you are wearing it. In the meanwhile, you want to want to find the curiosities that give you more LP per attention and hour.

As your INT grows, you may later find yourself not enough room within your study window so you will also need to take account of the number of LP/ (hour*space) as well.

You might want to go towards Civilization in your personal beliefs to buff your Int (reduces your Str and Con, though). You should also be full Peaceful if you're not already.
