How can I play with someone?

If I want to play with my brother, how could I make it so we spawn in the same area *or general area* so that we don't have to waste time looking for each other?

Set a hearth secret on your character in your Kin window (Ctrl+b). You need to make sure to click the "Set" button to save it. Make sure it's as secure as a password. (If you're of the paranoid variety, you can generate a random character string there, too, with the "Random" button.) When your brother creates a character, there's a guy in the top corner that will ask for a hearth secret. If entered successfully, he will spawn near your hearth fire. Make sure your fire is where you want it, else you both will be wandering around for some place better to settle. (and there's nothing wrong with that. more eyes means faster searching!)

Don't post hearth secrets in public unless you want people coming to you. There are trolls that will fill your area up with so many fires that you can't break you won't be able to go anywhere.
