A few Questions about hardened leather

First it also functions are normal leather for leather based items? (So you can up the quality and make better leather items with better leather.)

Since I know hardened leather can be used to make hardened leather can you keep doing it to help max out the quality of the leather you get?

Wax is usually the limiting quality factor in hardened leather (hides are easy to get q150+, water of q50+ is pretty common).

If for some reason you've got a bunch of q10 hides and q10 water with some q50 wax, then technically yes you could use the wax to spiral the quality of the leather up a bit. Doesn't seem very practical though.
