destroying boat

i just destroyed an afk player in a boat, and he died, but I was wondering, does it leave any scents to kill someone that way?

As long as they're not on a claim then no. If they're on a personal claim or village claim, you'll leave vandalism scents I believe.

And can i ask how one can smash a boat standing on another boat? When i tried from my boat, i got stucked instead of crush the enemy boat, so i wonder if i've just missed the target or if one can destroy a boat only by swim

You can destroy a boat from another boat. It's tricky,though.

Also anytime they clicked it interrupts ur destroying.
