cart theft

this guy is stealing my cart, in the clay bog. he keeps taking while i'm pulilng ,how do i do that?

eventually they left, but if I had rage I would have killed them.... (looked like noob griefers speaking Italian)


Anyway, Just wondering:
Every time I got hold of the cart, they would walk up to me and the cart would stop being pulled by me.
Then they would pull it themselves.
I don't know if this is a glitch or what... but I would like to know how to do this.

Are they stepping in front of the cart so it runs into them but not blocking you? That's a known issue. Carts stop if they run into any object (except frogs/rats, which are ran over).

just be thankful they were noobs and you're still alive. I'll also add a suggestion for when you need to gather large amounts of resources from an area: put your hf near the spot, grab a boat with whatever containers you're using, gather resources stash them in your boat and travel back to your village idol...you can unload and warp right back to your hf to gather more.

if you don't have a village idol yet have a friend warp back to your base with the boat you walk back and warp the boat back to the spot to gather more. either of these methods means you're less likely to run into other people, and if you don't run into other people you can't get griefed and your chances of being killed are much lower.

Yea, now that you mention it, they were definitely walking in front of my cart and breaking it away.



It was the first time I brought a cart out there, I suppose I should stick with warping to my hearth.

I need to find a village badly.... this is getting dangerous. I keep seeing dead bodies and stones with words carved in Russian.

One of the few stones in English said "Darn Rassians" on it. I suppose this is a bad sign.
