This is what I have so far, Ive set up a simple base.

Leanto -> Spruce Bough Bed
Wicker Basket -> 4 Cup's of water, torch
Wicker Basket -> 6 Stone
Birchbark Basket -> 9 Apples
Drying Frame
Fire

And these are my Skills so far

Carpentry
Foraging
Hunting
Lumberjacking
Oral Tradition
Primitive Tools
Wilderness Survival

I also have one stone axe.

Im on a piece of land stretched out into the middle of water with plenty of land and mixed forests.

Im pretty new at this. Could someone kinda guide me as what to do next?

Im wanting to set up a home and farm. It doesnt have to be that in particular.
I just seem to always get stuck at this part of the game and not exactly sure what to do next.

Did you read through the guides stickied up above? If not, do so. If you have, it'd probably be a good idea to do so again. Browse through the wiki at http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Haven_and_Hearth_Wiki. You can get a glimpse at what there is to do.

Also: the waterways are like a highway where all the motorists are out trying to run you down like a toad. I suggest moving away. A good 10 minute walk at least.

I didn't know that's what was going on in the waterway's but figures. Thanks for the head's up. I'm going to abandon post now and set out for a new place.
And I have been skimming over them and also through the forum's. I will read through them again though, this time with patience.

Any more advice is welcome, I just started yesterday and I'm sure other new guys could use the help.
