How does logging out work now?

Postby RMM » Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:17 pm

I read and noticed there seems to be some changes with this. I logged in with an alt, logged out, signed back in with my main, and then got a message that my alt logged off. Does that mean it's possible to be killed if aggro'd during that window every single time you log off regardless of committing a crime? Could a weaker ally betray and effortlessly kill you if you sign off close to them, and you would never even know why your character is missing from the menu the next day? Or do you eventually disappear no matter what's happening to your character at the time if the client isn't open?

There's just a delay before teleporting and logging out now.

After you log off, your character is still online for 10 seconds (even if you closed client), he is just zZz until after 10 he loggs off.

It would be better if you had a timer when you clicked Logout. Instead of logging off hoping that no one sees you.
