Skills and buildable objects

Postby Gaiadin » Fri Oct 02, 2009 6:41 am

I've been curious. Do any skills affect the quality of any buildable objects or are the materials used in their creation the only factors which affects their ultimate quality? By buildable objects I mean anything available in the "Build" Menu (Meat grinder, kiln, oven, meat grinder, etc...)

can anyone confirm specifics? We did a test with meat grinders. I built one with 40 smithing and mats under 40. My friend built another with the exact same mats and 1 smithing, and the sausage they make is equal. This seems to imply that smithing at least doesn't affect the meat grinder. Furthermore my carpentry is 10 while my friend's is 67 so carpentry appears not to affect the quality of a meatgrinder either.
