Cant find a Rabbit

Postby Moza » Wed Jan 04, 2012 12:32 pm

I have been looking for simple rabbit for more then one hour, but didn.t find anyone. There was a fox, some ants, but NO RABBITS. Is there some special method or places to find it?

Nope. They don't spawn on mountains or in thickets, swamps, or mud flats. Besides that they should be in forests and grassland areas just fine. You might just be missing them off screen or they may be hiding behind rocks and trees. Having a custom client that increases screen size helps a lot.

getting a boat and going along the rivers in your local area will allow you to cover much more ground and find many more rabbits, they're hard to find when starting out...but after you start hunting larger animals you'll see them everywhere and never stop to grab them.

People keep stating this, but covering more ground does not necessarily increase your chances. Rivers are heavily traveled, and if there's a lot of people online in your area, odds are they're going to be picked clean of everything. Set out overland on foot. I find more this way and faster than I ever have by boat. Also, you're less likely to run into random killers.

I just did a quick boat trip from my place to go hunting(always hoping to find a bear and never can) and passed several rabbits, atleast 5, and no people...guess it all depends on your area

People pick everything worth picking. Rabbits, not so much.
