Healing

Postby scureto1 » Thu Jan 05, 2012 4:24 am

I was very lucky and survived an animal attack with 3 HHP left. Since leeches do 3 SHP damage every time they 'suck', won't I die if i try to heal this by leeching? I don't have any access to wool, is there any way I can safely start healing, to at least get above a threshold where I can safely use leeches?

Eat Con food to increase your total HHP/SHP.

Feed a carrot to a deer =)

sometimes as you gain a certain stat(I thought it was con, but was told it was strength but I'm honestly not sure) you get a bit extra hhp, probably your only option unless you grab some 4 leaf clovers and go find a herd of mouflon...

It's CON. Normally CON won't increase current HHP, but because of some rounding things, you'll occasionally get a point back here and there. Raising CON or HP with belief sliders can help, too, if they aren't already maxed on one end.

another thing you can try is taking your shoes off and move around, ideally forest terrain, you will take 1 damage, which if I remember right may heal a bit of your HHP when your SHP regenerates. (make sure to put your shoes back on so you don't get KO'd)

However, if you can, you should build a loom and get some wool to make gauze until your HHP is high enough to use leeches safely.

dont do what the one before me told to you. You'll take thorn in the foot, that deeal 1 damage for 3 or 4 times and you'll got ko. You'r 3 hp left are really few, also leeches healing are dangerous so watch out. (Leeches healing is: You put on your body a leeche. It will drain some of your red hp but occasionally heal the yellow bar of 1 point or more. The problem is..how much damage do a leeches lvl 10? I dont remember..seems to me 1 but dunno exactly.)

Flame is right on the Thorn in Foot. You will never heal HHP when healing SHP. The only way is the heal HHP directly (leeches or the First Aid skill) or indirectly gain a random point as has been described earlier.

Leeches are base 3 damage per tick. If you had a friend with Theft, you could use a leech and have your friend take it when it knocks you out, but that is pretty risky.
