Crossroads on Claims

Postby farmchamp » Sat Oct 03, 2009 12:00 am

If I use a Crossroad, and I end up on one on a village claim, can I use it to jump back, or do I have to walk, or be a member of both villages?

Crossroads have to be built on village claims. You'd have to use yours to get there and then travel to your village's totem to get back (creating travel weariness). At least thats my understanding of the whole thing.

Using a signpost on a claim that you are not allowed on is a criminal act, and thus, you will leave a clue.

Also, you cannot be a member of more than one village, at the moment. But, it would be very useful if you could. For certain multi-village spanning governments, for instance.

Which part?
Leaving a scent from using something on land you're not allowed on? That seems right to me.

So pretty much Crossroads are useless, because it is a crime to use them. Wonderful.

No not useless, if you're a village member you're allowed to use them, and if you're traveling to another village with the intent of using the crossroads to get back, you're probably allowed on the other village also.

But you can't be in two villages. See? So you are in town A, and you go to town B. You arn't in town B, because you are in town A. So you are stuck.

There are still options in that situation. You could 'port to your village idol (Aka, town A), or you could party with someone in town B to use their signpost.
