my question : does it produce honey/wax when its surrounded with flowers only? or does it work with normal crops like wheat, pumpkin..etc too?or am i just doing something wrong?

This is the first I've heard this reported. Beeswax is a "byproduct" of honey production. Anything that produces honey will cause wax production, too.

Seems like all crops do. I think (needs confirmation) some crops make it produce faster than others but not sure.
