What is the minimal ua needed to fight foxes? i have 15 and i used to be able to beat them at 40. Im thinking of waiting until i get 20 or 25 but idk. im trying to get as much leather as i can and rabbits and slinging just arent cutting it

Well, then, you obviously know what it takes to beat them. All I can suggest is attempt it from somewhere you can get to safety at so if you mess up, you can escape. The more of the combat actions you have, the less skill required.

You should be able to beat them at 15 UA, foxes never kill IIRC, when I was learning combat I was knocked out many times from foxes, the only problem is learning when to use "Knock His Teeth Out" as when you damage it, it would most likely run.

Foxes have a fair bit more agility then you so if you're still base 10 AGI, make sure to unequip your armor/nettles and only wear your leather boots for that +1 agi boost!!!1

Just play on the defence with it at first, slide and oak stance are your friend and when you become more confident you can try using more advanced moves, like No Pain No Gain, although it would be more of a fep grind fighting a fox that way.

manuvers are the key I guess, so learn when it's going to attack and when to switch from bloodlust.

See my post above your about trying to take out foxes at 15 in either of the combat scores. People well versed in the system will be able to do it with no problems at a number as low as 1. (The same skill can kill you a boar or bear, too, but people don't try because it's pretty close to a one-hit KO.) Complete melee combat newbs will get their asses handed to them.

Also, foxes WILL kill. The odds of them actually killing are lower due to a significantly lower damage output than boars, bears, or deer.
