Second video critques: it was about 90-120 seconds too long for what you presented. Demonstrating that you can get early LP by discovering items for the first time is good. People don't need to see you discover every single item in the area. There was a lot in there that could be edited out. There's a ton of information that can be added.
For the skills and such, best to stick with the "plan" laid out by other players on what is most useful early on: Foraging, Hunting, Will to Power, Unarmed Combat, etc. (in other words, try to stick to the well known guides, such as Sevenless's). Stoneworking and Carpentry aren't on that short list. They provide nothing useful to new players and only unlocks things that aren't needed until several days (at least) into play. Better to show them how the incrementable skills (exploration, survival, etc) work. Also, a few points in Exploration is going to be much better for new players than all those purchasable skills.
Show players that the main way to get LP is by making and finding curios. Make a cone cow, raid some ants, pick some dandelions, etc.
Also probably a good time to explain how discoveries work and how the mechanic is used for new characters learning how to make craft items and building things.
Again, the same thing about the text and adding voice.

For both the videos: try to get rid of your taskbar. No need to show it.

I do want to say you've got a good start here. You've done more than anyone else has on this and hope you take these suggestions to heart to make great videos.
