Fox and Boar Vrs. Sling

I'm decently new. How much MM you need to one hit a fox with a sling? and a boar with arrows, or sling?

The higher your MM the faster you can aim, you could probably do it with less than ten if you want to spend an hour on each one.

Say I got 50 MM, I spend 5minutes aiming. One hit a fox?

Marksmanship has no relevancy to the damage you deal with a ranged weapon. Marksmanship affects how fast you aim.

Maximum damage is relevant to the quality of the sling/bow

Minimum damage is relevant to the maximum damage, the perception of the marksman, and the agility of the target.

Just get in your boat and you can kill anything.
Friend and I killed a bear on completely new characters and 2 Q18 slings.

Solo with 5 MM and a q9 sling.... Took an hour to do it, but it's doable ;)

To explain what ApocalypsePlease was saying:

All things in HnH are based largely on item quality. Slings do 60 max damage a q10 and it takes up to q40 to double that, q90 triples it, etc. (if you're decent with math, you can see that it's the square root of 1/10th the quality.) It's going to be mid-late game before anyone has a sling good enough to 1-hit kill a fox, so don't worry about it.

With a good quality bow (q50-60, which is easy), you can one-hit kill foxes reliably and do it often enough vs boar and deer. However, due to game mechanics, don't bother with any bow unless you have at least 40 MM.

I'm going to disagree with you, for some reason with my bow I can 1 shot a deer, and usually a boar, but I usually max out at 170ish on foxes...and its pretty weird(I asked about this in the simple question thread a while back also)

There's no reason for that, ImAwesome. If it's a bug, document it as such. Of course, it's very possible foxes have a damage reduction from all bows. If they do, it hasn't been documented.
