If you are attacked and you log out, what happens? Can other kill you anyway?

If you are aggroed (in combat) then you cannot fast travel or log out. If you make the mistake of closing your client, then your character will just stand there mindlessly until you log back in, your attackers leave combat, or you die.

Also, be aware that it takes a few seconds to log out or fast travel (except through crossroads.) If you close your client or log out, someone can initiate combat without you even knowing, preventing your character from disappearing.

What ddhoward said. If you're in combat and you log out, your character stays in the game with Zzz's over their head. The only way your character will log itself out is if the combat comes to an end.
