Broken Trees

After Giving my trees some time, it seems they will not grow. If i hide trees there in no red spot showing that there is a tree there ... and u can walk over them and click on them to chop but if u go over there to chop nothing happens ... there are 6 of them and they are spaced 5 tiles apart and around. around those 6 the trees grow just fine .. they have been left to their own devices for 9 days now and nothing. does anyone have an idea of how to fix this or chop them or dig them up and i will replace them with trees that will grow. I have also tried ignoring them and planted 3 on top of them after 5 days and those will not grow either. so is it the tile maybe?

If they are close together you might have had some frogs or rats spawn around them (is all the floor paved?) that will have dented them and stopped them from growing. At least thats the only thing I can think of.

The high Q trees have one tile all the way around that has no paved area then one tile all the way around that is paved and then 2 tiles all the way around with out paved area. the low Q trees have one tile all the way around that is pave and 4 that are not all the way around them.

I think the problem here is more that you can't remove the trees that are stunted.

My friend and I recently took over an abandoned village with a horrible tree farm that I'm in the process of redeeming, but there are a few stunted trees that I can't remove. I get the chop option and it does nothing.

They have no hitbox, and I can even build on top of them, so they shouldn't harm the farm I'm building, but still, they're ugly as hell and I'd rather they weren't there.
