Postby lukasperesbet » Tue Jan 24, 2012 2:47 pm

I know that is a little far from me now. But what Should i do now ? (My brother will take yeomanry for us).

Should i buy what ? Should i look for yeomanry too ?

What do you WANT to do? How are you guys dividing up the labor?

You can never go wrong with more exploration. The ultimate goal for someone foraging full time is 100+. Get some unarmed, too. It makes raiding ants easier (you won't have to run away like brave, brave Sir Robin).

Enough time to get the skill. After that, it's up to your wits to survive the raiders. I suggest making a combat alt if this is your goal. That way you only have one skill and stat set to grind up if you lose your ranger (which is highly likely).

Grind up your Int so you can cram in more curios, but don't neglect your other attributes along the way. The more out of proportion they are, the harder it is to bring lower ones that you do want to raise up.

Start a carrot farm, eat the crap ones on a good table, and replant the good ones

Get yeomanry,, because you need to make cupboards and you need to claim your land

Hand plowing to raise fep attributes is the best way to take care of excess stock, like with carrots. And all of you should start finding clay nodes to make a kiln to make an oven, as well as a grinder. Find or make the foods from this list: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/FEP_Table that will benefit your stat building the most. The more varied your diet, the better.

Also, if you're ranging, as in tracking down people that mess with your village, get your ua up and get the combat skills, all of them. Couldn't hurt to learn how to fight too. I second the combat alt motion.

You're doing it wrong. If you have enough extra food to just burn stamina, there are better things to do now. Some Options:

Catch dragonflies in a swamp.
Raise the quality of your fish bait--ie leeches.
Run, don't walk, to your destinations. Sprint if able.
Spar with your friends to get better at combat. You might not lose SHP, but you can burn stamina.

Those are just the most obvious, there's plenty of other things out there to do.

Find a cave, hunt, and mine, mine, and some more mining if ever you are bored. It raises your stats fast because your constantly hungry, you don't need to worry about having to put lp into a skill to mine better leaving you free to put it into whatever you please :)

Lukas one person with yeomanry for now is enough.
You need to increase your lp gain, to do so you need better curiosities and you can do that by increasing your exploration and perception values so you can find better curiosities. Somebody mentioned carrots as a way to increase perception and if you have peas you can make spring stews too. Having a chicken coop and a cauldron allows you also to boil eggs for perception. Raiding anthills also gives you aphids with a small boost on perception.
So if you have all of those a really good meal for perception would be:

A peapod, a carrot, an aphid, a beetroot, a boiled egg and a spring stew. The reason why I say one of each is because you eat a diferent kind of food before you gain 1 atribute the bar shortens a bit more. So its much better to eat all those I said than 2 or 3 spring stews (if you have them).

Study every curiosity you can find (not produce) except cat gold. As for curiosities you can produce go for cone cows, barkboats, and straw dolls (if you have wheat and hemp/flax crops), toy chariots and feather dusters are optional if you still have enough space, attention or dont have anything else to study.
