Question on Trees

Postby meowwaffle » Thu Jan 26, 2012 3:17 pm

Few questions On Growing Trees for Silking:

1) How long does it take for mulberry trees to grow on grass?
2) How many leaves can a mulberry tree hold at once?
3) How Long Do Leaves Take To Regenerate/Grow?

Thanks in advance :D

To grow to the second-last stage takes about a week.
For the last stage 1month or more i think.
Hope you have a great day

It takes twice as long for a tree to grow if it is not on native ground. I want to say it takes about 3-4 real life days for it to reach full quality (note that's not full maturity) on native ground, so expect a week anywhere else.

If you're going to answer, try to get it close to right. Full maturity is RANDOM. Mulberry are slow because they have such a small hitbox, but I've seen them mature, on average, in 2-3 weeks vs the 1-2 weeks (or less) for most other trees.

iirc, the only difference besides the sprite is that you get a full log when you chop it down on the last stage, and some blocks when you chop it down on the 2nd to last stage.

^^ This. Trees give one less log if not fully mature. Trees that only give one log give 4 blocks instead. Otherwise, everything is at full quality. Again, those are for trees that have reached full quality. Trees before this point have reduced quality and produce even less.
