How do I know if I won't drown?

Basically, how much con does it take to cross a river x tiles wide? Let's start with 9 deep tiles.

40 at very minimum.

Hearthlings are made of solid lead.

lol, 9 tiles is the widest river i saw yet, how about you start with 4 tiles? And you need 40 to cross that.

I crossed 6 deep tiles with 40con and had 14% stamina left.
