ok first off. Lets take a step back and cound to 20

secondl. it's a game, if your affected by it that much, i would suggest you find a book or try another game, this one may not be the best for u

third. it's Suggested that your con should be at Least 42ish. depending on your swimming style(do u swim at full stamm, try to find the shortest path between the two banks?) and whether or not your game lagged at the crucial wrong moment. all has factors.

Fourth. you said you tried to cross the Sea
