cupboards in a cave

a fair while ago i lived in a cave with robben, and the place was full of cupboards, and they never decayed, i'm asking for someone with a lot of experience to verify that this is the case

caves have no decay ticks, so nothing you build in a cave will ever decay...not even a loom or cupboard(2 things that usually go pretty fast).

makes them a great place to live and work once you've gotten in all the materials you need to work there.

do you mean 'dug out' not nature cave floor? Build a support and dig out an area to live in and then wall it?
