i hav a mine and im on the first level now. i can get either steel,iron or tin. or the variety of them is based on the mine level? so on level 1 all i get is tin ? or i can get all instead of gold but low q?

You can find all ores on all five levels.

Some places have tin, others have iron, some copper, etc. You will need to Prospect on the level above the one you wish to mine in, until you are able to locate the specific ore you are looking for.

Why do you refuse to read the wiki? Steel isn't a natural metal you mine. You make it from wrought iron and wrought iron from cast iron.
