There seems to be an error on mine support page on the wiki, that picture particulary...



It seems you can mine 9 tiles away from the support at its farthest, but the radius is much smaller, around 4 tiles.

So is it 4 or 9 tiles radius?

LadyV is quite correct. The wiki and this map are accurate. How do you figure it's only 4 tiles? (Note: the radius originally was only about 4 tiles at the beginning of w4, but was enlarged shortly after mining started because of complaints of the size.)

Oh okay. I haven't discovered metal yet, but found a mine support with ores around it. This image actually made me doubt about the whole thing.

That's the image on the wiki showing the radius. I did find a mine support with actual ores around ( a node ), I was simply wasn't sure how far I was allowed to mine with a support alone.
