How can I get a cart into a cave?

So, I have a cave that live in. Well, more like a cavern... But I thought it would be easier to build a cart to bring logs underground, so I can build things easier. I've seen carts underground, but now I'm not sure how they do that. I can't build any cart in my cavern, and the cart doesn't come inside the cave if I pull it.

Is there any other easy way to transfer lots of logs into the cave? Or can a cart somehow get into a cave, that I don't know about?

you build a cart inside the cave.

it is that simple, ive done it quite often so it is possible.

Yeah I just found out you can when I tried building it on my paved area. I guess unlike outside, where it can be built anywhere, it is different underground.

I didn't realize that...got it figured out, though.
